I am extremely proud to have such a distinguish group of fashion experts join me in-store. My amazing guests will speak to the crowd and provide demonstrations of their products.

Landa Family Vacation in Peru

It was my love of South America that led me to Peru for my vacation this year. I have been to many countries over the years and traveling is one of my most beloved pastimes. It is that love and passion for traveling that took me to Peru. I was accompanied by 11 members of my family, and together we explored the indigenous history of Peru, it's culture, cuisine and hand-crafted artwork and jewelry. It is one thing to travel alone, but sharing moments and places with loved ones made it even more special.

Mint Julep 2016 and Legacy Health Services

The 14th annual Mint Julep gala was a huge success! J. Landa partnered with Legacy Community Health Services in Houston, Texas for an exclusive event including cocktails, light bites, shopping and entertainment. From the looks of it, everyone had an absolute blast and we were very glad to bring this event to fruition with our amazing partners for the party, Legacy Community Health Services.

Golden Globes 2016 | Recreations of Our Favorites

We somehow narrowed down our favorites from the Golden Globes this year to two. Although the metallics spoke to us, our eyes were drawn the bold red/orange hue of Jennifer Lawrence's cut-out gown and the golden yellow of Jennifer Lopez's caped number. We recreated similar looks inspired by these two beauties.

Even with the distinct advantage of already having such a great in-store following it took her words and a few pushes along with one heck of a team to get to this place. We are, over 16 years in the making, ready to expand our brick and mortar location in Houston’s Rice Village to an omni-channel retail model all-inclusive of a fresh, relevant, inspiring digital brand.

A Lesson in Layering

Also known as a lesson in story-telling.

As a Texan, layering isn’t a word we commonly use.
In fact, I can only think of two instances where “layering” is used
1) when telling a cohesive story with jewelry we “layer” and born was our hashtag #whatsyourstory
2) when eating at a Mexican restaurant it’s very important to “layer” queso and guac for the best possible dining experience
