Shop Summer Essentials on June 21st with J. Landa and Sultana's Daughter

 and

present a Summer Essentials POP UP with Positive Healing Vibes, Pons Avarcas USA, and David Michael Salon!

We're pulling out all the stops for our Summer Essentials Pop Up and featuring two brands exclusive to Houston through Sultana's Daughter: Positive Healing Vibes scarves, wraps, and caftans and Pons Avarcas USA sandals - the new metallics are everything! But that's not all, we'll also have Fresh White Tees from Cotton Citizen (Jay's favorite), and from 5-7pm, join us for cocktails and a David Michael Salon Braid Bar!

Plus, the first 20 customers that make a purchase will receive a free pair of our favorite gold hoops, a summer must have valued at $35, and one lucky customer will win a pair of Pons Avarcas USA sandals valued at $79 in the color of their choice!
Our favorite gold hoops!

Hoops have been slowly but surely coming back into style in so many different ways. Small, medium, large, and extra large hoops have been making their way back into both every day and editorial style. When we saw Selena Gomez's April 2017 Vogue cover, we knew - the bigger, the better! We love the big gold hoop trend so much, we're giving them away! Our favorite gold hoops are 3 inches in diameter, but thin, so you won't feel the need to under-accessorize from the ears down.

Positive Healing Vibes

Cotton wraps starting at $155, silk wraps starting at $175.

Positive Healing Vibes caftans are one size, 100% organic pima cotton, and retail for $385. Each scarf or caftan is hand dyed by Sultana's Daughter owner Alex Venzke's husband James Brummett at JWB Studios in Houston, Texas. Caftans are cut and sewn by Taylor Sprong in NYC.

Alex Venzke and Jay Landa have been close friends and colleagues for many years, but let her tell you herself!:

I am so excited to get back into the store and work alongside Jay again! I started working for Jay when I was 19, working on and off for 10 years while getting my degree and teaching music. What started as a part time job turned into a lifestyle. I've always had an interest in fashion, accessories in particular, but working at J. Silver allowed me to harness my skills at selling and passion for styling. My clients trust me to tell it like it is and always be honest with my opinion.
Chan Luu trunk show events were some of my greatest memories at J. Silver - I would literally dream about the wrap bracelets! And who could forget dinners and margs at El Tiempo. My absolute favorite time with Jay was when he introduced me to the world of buying in NYC. I will never forget my first time in the city as an adult, we even brushed shoulders with a celebrity at lunch!
Without my experience at J. Silver, now J. Landa, I would have never been able to take the plunge to start my own business. Jay, I am so grateful to have you as a friend and mentor, and am so excited to collaborate on this event and those in the future! I can't wait to style familiar faces and brand new clients!
We can't wait for this exciting event, and we know you can't either! RSVP on our Facebook event at goo.gl/YmfpPG and comment below with what you're most excited to see and shop!

Thank you so much for coming to our Pop Up with Sultana's Daughter! We had such an incredible time helping you find your perfect summer essentials, and we can't wait to see how you wear them!

And congratulations to Margarita Wight, the winner of our Pons Avarcas giveaway! We know you'll love these metallic sandals, and we can't wait to see how you style them throughout the summer!
