How to Style: Skull Jewelry
Halloween and Dia de los Muertos are only a few days away, and while skull jewelry is always in season at J. Landa, we're stepping up our skull style this week! It might include an edgy #neckmess or two ;)
You've heard us say it before, we love to wear jewelry that is meaningful and tells a story. When creating a #neckmess, some of our favorite charm symbols to include are evil eyes, hamsas, snakes and, of course, skulls.
A handful of customers always ask us, "Why skulls?!" And here is our answer: skulls are a subtle reminder that we're all made up of the same bones. We all could use that constant reminder, don't you think? We understand the question though – a lot of people have a much more somber view on skulls. So we love the edginess it can bring to someone's style, too.
One of our favorite skulls? The Catrina Skull, a brightly painted skull that is synonymous with the Mexican holiday Dia de Los Muertos that celebrates the lives of loved ones passed. Here at J. Landa, we like to celebrate Diva de los Muertos – because we all should be celebrating the diva in us.
So in celebration of Halloween and Dia de los Muertos, this week has been all about skulls! We've got your statement earrings, skull charms, skull necklaces & more. Come see us or shop online! Embrace the skull, and remember, it's what's on the inside that counts!
