Diva de los Muertos at J. Landa

Every year when Dia de los Muertos (or Day of the Dead) rolls around – October 31 through November 2  – we like to put our own little spin on our favorite time of the year. Here at J. Landa, we celebrate Diva de los Muertos

Traditionally, Day of the Dead celebrates the life of past loved ones. Their lives are honored with elaborate altars, dancing, food and festivals. It's a rich, beautiful part of the Mexican culture.

We love that Dia de los Muertos is a holiday of celebration rather than mourning. And we've taken that idea and applied it to the present. Diva de los Muertos celebrates the life you are currently living - carpe f**king diem! We're all fabulous #badBs, and that should be celebrated!

We've said it before and we'll say it again, there's no point in being the richest bitch in the cemetery. We want you to treat yourself during Diva de los Muertos, whether that's with chocolate, jewelry, those shoes you've been eyeing or a day at the spa. Treat yourself now because you've only got this one life.

day of the dead skull jewelry

As always, we'll have a large selection of jewelry with skulls, perfect if you're celebrating Diva or Dia de los Muertos. We don't think of skulls as a symbol of the afterlife. They are a symbol of reincarnation and reinvention of the soul. It's never too late to start living the life you want, and the skull is a subtle reminder of exactly that ... and it's a reminder that you're a powerful, strong #badB. Don't think of yourself as a skull girl? We'll show you how we make skulls fashionable and stylish.

So come celebrate with us during October 31 through November 2 and, perhaps, treat yourself to something pretty. And if nothing speaks to you, we always have champagne ;)

We'd love to see you 💀❤️

xoxo,
Jay
