Thank You For Coming to The Dian Malouf Trunk Show!
We kicked off the Spring 2017 Dian Malouf Trunk Show this past Thursday, March 23rd with hundreds of rings and several dozen necklaces, pendants, earrings, and stretchy bracelets. We had a difficult time finding our favorite pieces, but our clients didn't!
We debuted some of Dian's new limited edition pieces, such as two of my favorite rings in the collection - a green onyx and a blue crystal tanzanite, all new stretchy bracelets in all new colors, druzi stacks in both gold and silver, grey pearl stretchies, an insane fossilized abalone heart ring, and a large translucent green amethyst ring that was out of this world!
Alongside all new jewelry, we also sold autographed copies of Dian Malouf's book Seldom Heard: Ranchers, Ranchos & Rumors of the South Texas Brush Country, a collection of essays and photographs showcasing life on the range.
And let's not forget our giveaway! Dian Malouf very generously donated a beautiful sterling silver, turquoise, and hand carved bone necklace worth $660, and we are very happy to announce our winner is Elizabeth Smith!
Elizabeth has been a J. Landa customer for approximately twenty years and we are so happy to have her as part of the J. Landa tribe. Liz loves Dian Malouf jewelry just as much as we do, but don't take our word for it, let her tell you herself!
What was the first piece of Dian Malouf you bought?
My first piece was the gold coin, the Caesar ring. It's still one of my favorites.
What makes Dian Malouf one of your favorite jewelry designers?
I like big jewelry. Dian's jewelry is big, it's massive, it matches my bigger than life personality!
What is your favorite piece of Dian Malouf jewelry that you own?
I would say this bracelet. [points to wrist] It's a wide swirled sterling silver bracelet, a cuff. Carved, partially oxidized, I wear it all the time!
If you could design your ideal Dian Malouf piece, what would it look like?
It would be huge! Probably square, sterling and 14 karat gold, a couple diamonds. Definitely diamonds.
How would you describe your style?
Gaudy [laughs], fabulous, my style is bigger than life.
Thank you so much to everyone that made it out to the Dian Malouf Trunk Show! This was one of our best trunk shows to date, and we couldn't have done it without your help. If you didn't get a chance to stop by, our next Dian Malouf trunk show will be held in August. Keep your eyes out!
