London Kaye • August 17th, 2017

Meet London Kaye, a street artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Working with a crochet medium, she's attracted global attention from her yarn-based art. We've invited her to Houston and she's bringing bags, baby! Join us on August 17th for a pop up you won't forget.

"Kaye and her work have been featured in The New York Times, CBS This Morning, The Huffington Post, Buzzfeed and Elle. She has adorned the windows of ABC Carpet and Home and has recently crocheted pieces for major brands including Red Valentino, Starbucks, Miller Lite, Chex Mix, The Gap, and the TBS Network. According to Condé Nast Traveller, "London Kaye is the one to watch."  Still to this day, and true to her street art roots, most of her pieces are hung on fences in public places. Her work has been spotted on city streets ranging from New York to Venice Beach and Rome to Mexico City.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Kaye received her BFA in dance from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. After graduating, London set out to make those around her smile. She realized her life long passion for crochet could be the perfect avenue to achieve this goal. In the years since this discovery, her creative and colorful style has brought smiles to people around the world, and has built an admiring fan base that is excitedly waiting to see what will come off the crochet hook next."
